IV, feedings, infections OH MY

Interesting day. Here are the cliff notes:

Started pedialyte through gtube – went well

IV leaked and it took several hours, several people and more tears from me than Laila but they got a new one started. She now has arms that look like a heroine addict….

They tried some formula – that did not go well so we stopped again.

She has a UTI that they had trouble figuring out how to treat because she is allergic and immune to many antibiotics. Urology resident got an education in the world of treating Laila.

I had all my babies together and that I love…. Thankful they are ready and willing to spend the day hanging out here. Laila’s smiles come and go but glad they were all smiling together :)
