Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means "the LORD will provide"). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: "On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided."
We have had to absolute pleasure of watching the way God has been working for us. We have spent every morning at our dining room table, laying this new calling and life in ministry before the Lord.
He has provided.
We have are at 95% of our funding and have been cleared to begin training.
2019 is the year we will move from everything comfortable, all the way to the other side of the world. So many emotions…..
There have been countless stories in the last four months where God has been providing and giving opportunities that we never would have asked for or imagined.
Here is just one of many stories:
These are our friends, Brandon and Brandy. We’ve know them for years as we have both been foster parents and gone through many similar situations. They have been serving the Lord in Zambia for the last few years.
While we were in Idaho this summer for training, they were back in DeMotte on furlough having their baby girl. We offered them our house since it would be empty for 6 weeks. They accepted :) God provides.
While in our house, it sold without ever being listed for sale. They were able to help us out by helping with inspections and such when we weren’t here. God provides.
They recently came back to the US permanently from Zambia and have encouraged their supporters to begin supporting us and a few have. God provides.
They are getting settled in their new home and will no longer be needing their extensive amount of suitcases so a few weeks ago they dropped them off to us. Who would’ve ever thought to ask for such a huge blessing?!? GOD PROVIDES
So I’d love to encourage you to keep praying and believing. Things don’t always come in the ways that you think they will, but God has plans that are so amazing. He’s with you in the details…. even down to the suitcases :)
