Yesterday was a fantastic day. That’s right, fantastic. She has her personality back, she was awake most of the day, her pain was controlled by the meds…. Fantastic.
Can we just never feed her again and keep fantastic?
She loves to play doctor and pretend to type her Med list on her iPad ;)
We are still on the wait and see plan. The ostomy output slowed down even more which is not a good sign for feeding soon. They took the drain out of her latest incision site and it was looking a little puffy and red over night so they are going to watch that too. She also ran a low grade fever overnight but it’s gone this morning.
Praying for another uneventful, smiley day. Again, just not sure how we’re gonna move forward and get out of here….
Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
