The dam broke….

After some violent vomiting last night the dam broke and the ostomy is working again this morning. Praise!!

We are trying to slowly feed her starting this evening. If all goes well we hope to get released tomorrow.

There are varying opinions among the doctors as to what has been going on but our Doctor thinks maybe an intestinal infection. Now that she only has a small intestine, things affect her even more severely than before. So when I’m being super protective to keep her from germs, this is why.

Last nights doctors were really wanting to take her to the OR and thinking that there was a narrowing with her stoma but they said they would defer to her doctor who happened to be on today. Praise God for going before us and lining this all up to work out the way He did. No, I do not want to be here again but even so, I know God is here and taking care of us in ways we only see if we choose to have our eyes open to Him.

Please pray this is all that it is and that her body settles down soon.
