Our Cup Overflows

We were so incredibly blessed the past two days.  We decided to do this garage sale because we have so much stuff and needed to do a good clean out and needed the money.  We were first blessed by how many people were also willing to give us their items to sell.  We started with a ton and ended with a lot as well because people kept bringing things for us to sell.  Even strangers were coming back  with boxes and bags of clothing asking if we’d like to sell them to try to get more profit.  We were also so blessed to be able to have many conversations about adoption with many people and were humbled to hear the stories of their families and also able to encourage some that have always wanted to adopt.  The overflowing part comes in when we learned our total profit was $1751.34!!  Praise the Lord and thank all of you who came and gave above and beyond what you owed.  If you were the one who paid $50 for a $.25 book, if you were the one who’s total came to $20 and you wrote your check for $200 instead, if you were the one that gave $1 even though you didn’t find anything you wanted, if you were the one who had a child who gave us the change in their little bag instead of going to the next sale for a toy, or if you were the one that came and haggled me from $1 to $.25 instead, I thank you for getting us that much closer to bringing our son home.  I thank you for sharing in our lives and our story to make a difference and show that these things are really possible.  THANK YOU!!

One other fun bit, I got our copy of the NOC today.  You (and I) thought that a 10 day NOC was a miracle???  Well how about a two day NOC!!  The NOC was actually approved on July 5 which was just two days after the Article 5 was issued.  Absolutely AMAZING!  Praises!!
