Judah has been in his orphanage since October 2010.  While that seems so sad to me that he has been there so long, today I am glad for it!

I mentioned a few weeks ago that Ethiopia had made a new rule that children that are orphans from the Southern region had to have another document to be cleared before their adoptions can be finalized and that would possibly hold us up longer.  Well today we found out that this does not apply to Judah.  This rule is in effect for children who were relinquished from April 2011 forward.  Since Judah was before that his case is “grandfathered” in the old rule.  So today I am glad that for October 2010 :)

Otherwise, no other news to report.  We’re still waiting for out finger printing appointment on the 30th which is our next step toward our 600A approval that we need to submit our dossier.
