Praise the Lord with me today! Yesterday we received an email stating that if we could get our agreement sent to BSSK by April 30 and our dossier by May 14th then we can get registered with CARA! They’re making an exception for us since we were “in the pipeline” as long as we can meet their deadlines to show we truly were already in the process. Thank you for the prayers!! I love this blog just as an opportunity to look back at writing things like this:
“PLEASE PLEASE pray fervently that Dean at Holt will be able to make contacts in India to be able to get our family registered to Ranjit. I was reading something about the courts closing some in May and as it stands now they’re not opening the registrations back up until June. Our God can move mountains and I’m pray pray praying He will move this one. I’m secretly hoping that was one of the reasons behind bringing us home this week and getting this paperwork together ”
And less that 24 hours later we received the answer to our prayer! It also makes me smile to think that my grandma had a part in helping us get ready for that email to come on the day of her funeral visitation. Judith Ann, thank you for helping bring your Judah home. I’m so sad that it wasn’t in time to meet you but I pray God will give you a window into his life with us.
Just a few papers left to round up and we will hopefully be able to send our dossier this week! What an amazing gift. Speaking of gifts, his shirt made it to my new found friend who is hopefully going to give it to him this week. I pray that somehow the words “I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you” will speak to his heart and soul as he waits for us. Please also pray for the family going to pick up their little boy and bring him home. Pray for good adjustment and attachment and a calm flight home.
