Where are You?

There’s still some confusion as to where we are and what we’re up to.  We did sell our house but we are still in DeMotte, IN.  We are not able to move forward with our training and moving to Indonesia until that percent bar on our homepage says 100% and we have all of our support actually coming in or arrangements made for it to start coming in.

So until then, we’ve been meeting with and trying to minister to those God puts in our path while sharing about MAF and asking people to pray about joining our support team now, financially and/or prayerfully.

We’re so, so very thankful for how God has been directing people to go to MAF.org/Hamstra to take the step to sign up so we can reach our support goal and Jack can finish his training. Any amount helps!

In other news, we’ve been so grateful for everyone staying healthy so far this year and for the many ways God is revealing that this is His path for us.  The kids are all doing well with school and our rental house somehow feels like home.  God is so good to us.

Prayer requests would be that God would prompt hearts and that we would be fully funded by January 1st so we can move forward to get to Indonesia before the next school years starts in August.  Also, pray for our grief.  The holidays are always hard but there is a whole new layer this year thinking about this being our last holiday season on this side of the world for several years.  Please remember our family and friends in that prayer as well.
