T-minus Five Days

- slept horrible so figured I’d get up at 3:30 to call the Embassy only to find out it was a holiday
- finished plans for the Adoption Workshop
- scheduled our pre-travel call with the agency for Friday afternoon
- bought little boy undies :) along with a few other items for Ranjit
- bought every stomach and cold med known to man to take with (working on a packing list page for the website for those families waiting to travel)
- talked with one set of Laila’s therapists about grandma bringing her for the next two weeks and worked extra hard with her walker today because I’m not going to bother with having grandma bring it
- called credit card companies to alert we’ll be out of the country and not to block our charges
- set up skype on ipad and laptop for calling home
- had breakfast with a friend
- downloaded currency and measurement converter to the ipod
- measured clothes we have for Ranjit and am again shocked by how tiny he is
- Decided we will let friends and family meet us at the airport when we arrive home
- we’re overwhelmed by great friends willing to set up meals for us and they planned a prayer meeting for us for this Sunday. 5:00 at our church if anyone would like to come
- called a few friends I haven’t been able to keep updated
- went out for Chinese because both big kids had GREAT report cards. My fortune “Travels from nesting space will take you to a broader cultural horizon.” How about that!
- Carved pumpkins since we’ll be gone for Halloween. Even carved one for Ranjit :)
