The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

—Lamentations 3: 22-23

Emma’s blog and this post got completely blocked by all social media.  Listen, she can’t even direct message the link to someone… what the heck?!?And there is no appeal process.  They just dubbed this information as abusive.  In the craziness of today, this is abusive??  Friends, the enemy is working triple time but he will not win.  So proud of my girl and her words.  Please share this wherever you can.  God’s word and the ways the Holy Spirit speaks to us personally can not be silenced.

Written by my lovely Emma:

I absolutely love my new room in our house in Papua. It’s got the style I want, I have a big fluffy blanket, but most of all, I have two ginormous windows overlooking the most beautiful mountain. When I wake up in the morning, I reach out, open my curtain, and there it is. The mountain. With the sun freshly up over the earth. I honestly cannot think of a better way to wake up.

That view though!!

One morning I was looking out and this little voice came into my head saying: “His mercies are new every morning.” It was so random! But I just kept hearing it. “His mercies are new every morning.”

After that I went about my day, went to bed, and when I woke up, there it was again. “His mercies are new every morning.” I began to think about that phrase and why it was coming to me…

When I just moved again to a different place and am forced to start a new school as a senior –

“His mercies are new every morning.”

When I feel so lonely because it’s been almost a month and I haven’t made friends here yet –

“His mercies are new every morning.”

When the world is going crazy with five thousand different situations and it feels like we are all being swallowed up –

“His mercies are new every morning.”

When a family member or friend texts me and says they miss me from the states or just sends me some encouragement –

“His mercies are new every morning.”

When I wake up, and think how lucky I am to still be breathing and living on this gorgeous planet –

“His mercies are new every morning.”

Oh this? Just my backyard

It’s beautiful, really. All of the things we have. How magnificent our worldly home is. While sinful and heartbreaking, absolutely wonderful. God could have made the earth dark and creepy, sentencing us to a terrifying place before spending glorious eternity with Him. But He didn’t. He created mountains, animals, oceans, lakes, volcanoes, long plains of grass, snow, rain, lightning, flowers, trees, rocks, stars, and every other natural thing. How gracious of Him! How MERCIFUL!

And it doesn’t end. It’s all there. Every. Morning. You don’t just wake up and all of a sudden a mountain is just gone or an entire ocean is all dried up. No. It stays. We get to see it, wherever we are, whatever gift He’s given to us near our homes, we see it every… single… day.

The Pacific Ocean, yet another great thing near my new home

So, I realize now how amazing that little phrase was that came into my head. “His mercies are new every morning.” No matter what we do, think, say, nothing. Every. Morning. He’s there. He’s ready. He loves. What a fantastic, merciful God we serve.
